The Garrett Leight collection was founded in 2010 as an independent label in Venice Beach. From the very beginning, the young designer has specialized in high-quality spectacles made from the finest materials. Handicraft know-how is given top priority, similar to our philosophy at Messner Optik.

Inspired by his father, a co-founder of Oliver Peoples, Garrett Leight grew up in a world of design, eyewear and fashion. He learned from the early days what it takes to produce high-quality frames combined with style.

The design of the collection is stimulated by the daily changing world of design in the area of Venice Beach: architecture, photography, music, fashion. Garrett Leight's simple retro design convinces all over the world - also at Messner Optik in Basel.
